The Big Question
Calling the Oracles
"The Big Question"
Here is my most recent collage, finished this week, and started at the last collage circle. I tend to go too big for one session, and I like to read oracle cards for the artists who come to see where the collective creative wants to take our circle. So I will leave the pieces out on the coffee table so I can get back to it here and there, sort of like leaving a puzzle out to be finished as you can get to it. It usually gets finished more out of impatience in the end…not loving the mess in the living room I’m clearly responsible for. Whatever it takes to make art, am I right?
Anyway, I am very curious about this unfolding story here...not sure exactly what's happening, but it reminds me of science fiction. You know...like this bizarre timeline we find ourselves in.
Also if it's too small to read and you don't want to zero in...the big question is: is there enough for everyone?
I suppose there are many answers, depending who you ask. 🌏
I also can’t believe I found the photo-source of a meme I seen a few times. (Turns out it really is just somebody’s bored kid.)
Feel free to use the above image and make your own meme…just send it my way after, please! Here’s my version
I really could do this all day. And that’s why touching paper and scissors and glue is a necessary balancing- medicine.
If this kind of play calls you too, consider joining us online next time. I'll be hosting another collage circle on the 20th of June. It will be Saturday this time, instead of our usual Sunday. We will celebrating Solstice and make room for Father’s Day. Check the flier below or message me for details. It's online! We have a good time dreaming awake.
The enchanting collage on the flier was made at our last gathering by Steph Bilovsky.
I try to make the times doable for those in this country and those in Western Europe, etc. It seems to work! We love our multinational connections. And I love a bit of time-travel.
(Maybe THATs what's happening in my collage. ⏱️🚀)
