In this intimate conversation, open-book and globetrotting painter Rebekah Evans shares her practice of making paintings inspired by the sacred places she visits. Co-creating with the Earth and the Water, she has continued her creative practice even through the unexpected death of her son and her deep grieving experience. Rebekah shares her personal insights of becoming a “Sprit Mother,” now inspired in new ways by her beloved child’s spirit. We discuss the great alchemical symbol of the Ouroboros, the snake eating its own tail, infinity and beyond, and her appreciation for the ancient Chinese painter Xu Beihong’s Galloping Horse.
